Gian-Carlo Carra is the newly elected Alderman for Ward 9. Carra has spent the past ten years engaged in Calgary-based front-line community service, action research, and professional urban design practice.

His common mission on all these fronts has been to empower communities to transform Calgary into the sustainably prosperous, democratically engaged, and culturally vibrant City we all want. While there have been many successes over the past decade, there is only so much that can be accomplished within the current system.

This promotional video was commissioned by The Lawn Party, a competitive Ultimate Frisbee team, known for its prowess on the field and its flair off of it. Characterized by a reputation of arrogance, conceit and snobbishness, this eclectic group claims that their "natural purpose is the definition and exemplification of excellence and refinement." They sought to create a video that would provide a brief overview of their team history and propagate their belief of their own superiority.
