Chris Stevenson is planing, researching, designing and building a net-zero or Equilibrium home in inner-city Calgary Alberta. The house is of ICF construction, uses passive solar heating, Photo Voltaic Electricity generation, solar hot water heating and boiler heated hydronic in-floor heating. Ultimately the house will generate as much or more energy than it consumes.
This house has a complicated series of foundations and retaining walls that showcase the art of good concrete work.
